Welcome to OSU Bands

Our music programs filter into all majors across campus and enhance the college experience for so many students. With the help of my colleagues Dr. Brad Townsend, athletic bands director; Dr. Robert Brudvig, director of percussion studies; instrumental music education professor Dr. Jason Silveira, and the rest of our talented instrumental faculty, we offer opportunities for musicians of every level of talent and experience. In fact, this year the music department is seeing its highest student enrollment ever in the band program, with over 500 students participating. This almost certainly makes us the largest band program in the state.

Whether you are looking to be a professional performer, a music educator, or just continue to learn and play your instrument, there is an opportunity for you with OSU Bands.
